It's been ages since I wrote a blog. But something funny happened at
the gym I thought I'd share. I will try to be articulate so you's get
the picture.

I begin my workout with a little ab workout on the mats.
Self explanatory. The big mat is full, so I go over to the smaller
one. I notice a very attractive, fit brunette to my right talking to a
guy friend with her back towards me. I go over to the far left with
not much room left. So I am doing my thing and I see this guy coming
towards the small mat. I can see this guy coming a mile away. As far
as "what's on his mind". The guy plops down right next to me. I mean
right FUCKING next to me. "In my grill","In my fucking business", so
close he should have noticed that I forgot deodorant. So this guy is
doing some fake ass attempt at stretching thinking this hot brunette,
whose back is towards him and is talking to her "GUY" friend, is going
to notice him. A few minutes go by and "hot brunette and guy friend"
leave. I start to count, 1 2 3 4 "Mr.Trying to Hard" gets up and
leaves.
Red Flags-Several things were not working for this guy from
the start. The obvious: If you're trying to get the attention of
someone, don't do it when their attention is on someone else and their
back is towards you. Wait until that person is by themself. Hot
brunette girl will most likely "NOT" be in this predicament. So move
the fuck on!
Selling the Goods-If your intention is to meet someone at a
specific venue, you must sell yourself. I'll esplain. "The Dress
Code". It says alot when you wear the right cloths to the specific
venue, ie.. the gym. Do not EVER think you're going to get the
attention of "Hot Girl" if you're wearing white half-calf socks with
sneakers from your 70's closet and shorts from Dillard's. Unless they
are blind,this "AIN'T GONNA FUCKING HAPPEN"!
Hair Style-Not that this has great importance in most cases.
Especially at the gym. But in this case it is. Having the right hair
style for the right venue is important. If your intention is to pick
up hottie at the gym and your head looks like Donald Trump without
Trump Tower to back it up. Do yourself a favor and shave it! The
balding comb over look is not going to get "hottie" to notice you.
Even if you show hottie your merkin.
All information based on minutes of observation of one mans
attempt to get the "Hot Girl" to notice his very existence. Some facts in this article are based on personal experience. Except the
balding and merkin part. No one was hurt or violated during this
observation.

Movie Time:Valkyrie and Defiance. I am reviewing two movies
together because both movies are based on actual events during World
War 2. VALKYRIE-Staring Tom Cruise and a slue of veteran English
actors. Most of them playing people inside Hitler's inner circle. For
those who think Valkyrie is a person, get that out of your fucking
head. Tom Cruise plays Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg who hates Hitler
and his plan for a pure race in Germany,go figure. Stauffenberg is not
alone in his thinking. He bands with high ranking officers who feel
the same,who have tried to assassinate Hitler before only to fail.
They needed Jason Borne! So this band of Hitler haters tries to
implement a rewritten version of Valkyrie, rewritten by Stauffenberg.
Valkyrie is a statute that gives all power to these high ranking
Hitler haters if Hitler was ever killed and declares marshall law and
arrests all SS soldiers. Obviously they failed. If you're going to
assassinate someone and it is worth dying for, you put two in the
chest one in the head. Come on people! Basic assassination 101. Great
entertaining and informative movie. Worth watching. Cruise gives a
good performance as well as the supporting cast. Movie is recommended.
Remember, two in the chest one in the head!

DEFIANCE-Staring Daniel Craig and Liev Schreiber. If you ever
asked why didn't the Jews ever fight back, this movie is for you.
Belarus 1942, Nazi occupied Eastern Europe. Two brothers Tuvia Bielski
and Zus Bielski played by Craig and Schreiber band together after the
Nazis capture and kill their family and friends in their village. They
take refuge in the forest and within days of their first attack on
German soldiers, word gets to other Jews from other towns and the
Ghettos who want to seek refuge, to find these two brothers. Within
weeks their population grows and that food is becomes more and more
scarce. Besides not having food, the Germans are ordered to hunt and
kill this band of fighters. They start a community where all Jews are
equal and make use of everyone's skills to strengthen the community.
This movie was a good as well. Nothing better than having a
band of brothers and sisters fighting against genocide and tyranny.
Schreiber's character Zus Bielski is my favorite. He shows no mercy.
Fucks the Nazi's up. Eye for an eye. These two brothers within two
years save 1,200 Jews and counts generations that followed. Also
recommend this movie. Be well.
